Will you do a custom rug for me?
Honestly, custom rugs are not my favorite because I’ve got my photograph-to-rug process down to a science, and I don’t get to be very creative when I make rugs of other people’s photographs. However every girl has her price so if you’ve got the funds why don’t you contact me about your request.
Also, if you think your rug idea would be interesting to me, and you’d be willing to give me the rights to your photo so that I can make a kit of your image, that could work too.

I own a boutique and would love to carry your kits! Do you do wholesale?

Yessirree.
Drop me a line, fellow entrepreneur.

How long will it take to get my order?

Plan on it taking a month. I may have to hand make your kit to order, so it could take a while. In most cases I will be able to have your order to you more quickly, but don’t count on it. If you need an order in a jiffy, e-mail me and ask what I have in stock.

I’ve never latch-hooked before. Will I be able to make a kit?
Most likely, yes. Latch-hooking is an easy technique to learn. It takes patience more than physical skill. I recommend starting with a smaller kit until you get the hang of it, and don’t be afraid to mess up because every kit comes with extra yarn expressly for that purpose.

I’ve run out of one of my yarn colors. What do I do?
Just e-mail me and let me know the following:

  • what color number you are missing
  • which kit you are missing it from
  • how much more you need of that color
  • your mailing address.

If your request is reasonable I will rush you the yarn free of charge!

I’ve finished hooking my rug. Now what?
Get crafty! You could frame the rug or turn it into a pillow. I almost always bind the edges of mine, sew on D-rings and make a wall-hanging. Visit the “How to Latch-Hook” section of the site for more information about binding.

How do I clean my rug?
You can get your rug professionally dry cleaned by a reputable rug cleaner. For spot cleaning, you can use Woolite or another carpet cleaning product. Be sure to test a small area on the back of the rug to ensure that your cleaning product will not remove the yarn color. DO NOT machine wash or dry your rug.
